Jeffrey Shealy
The Rev. Jeffrey (Jeff) W. Shealy has been an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) since his graduation in 2007 with a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia. Prior to seminary, he graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He served as the pastor of Reformation Lutheran Church, Lancaster, from 2007 to 2010 and St. Luke Lutheran Church, Florence, SC, from 2010 to 2019. In 2017, CH (CPT) Shealy was commissioned as a Chaplain in the South Carolina Army National Guard. CH Shealy also served for 2 years as the volunteer chaplain for the City of Florence Fire Department.
Jeff is married to Ashley and together they are avid tennis players, enjoy exercising and just about anything outdoors. He also enjoys running, cooking for his family, and reading when time allows. Jeff and Ashley have two children: Caroline and Luke; they also have two dogs: Obi and Chewie (who, yes…are fondly named after Star Wars characters).
Pastor Shealy is most enthusiastic about leading worship, preaching, teaching the Bible and fundamentals of the Christian faith, and Lutheran theology. His current vision for pastoral ministry is to provide a gracious hospitality for all people from all walks of life to discover, deepen, practice and live out their faith in Jesus Christ.
